SVEN FISCHER

About

Sven has taken over the role as Head of Global Research and Development at Krones AG in 2020, leading various research and development teams, establishing a global innovation ecosystem and developing solutions for manufacturing equipment for the food and beverage industry.   

Sven has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, and he is an expert in aseptic filling and packaging. He worked in various roles, also as Global Technology Director and Director of Global Research and Development at SIG Combibloc.

Sven prepared a PhD on the physics of bubble formation and was promoted in 2001. He graduated from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany in 1996 in Brewing Science and Beverage Technology.

Objectives: Sven´s main interest is to successfully drive transformations in a big multinational organization with the emphasis on product innovation but also on sustainability, digitalization and the corresponding processes. The future of food and beverage factories is one of the core objectives, envisioning and developing solutions for the customers to make them successful and sustainable.
